The most important piece of advice I can give students taking my classes is:
These are career-training courses that lead to early industry certification in Architecture, Construction, and other related fields. As such, it is important to conduct yourself more like a young adult than an older child, and to be responsible for yourself in every way. See these classes as trade school courses.
Often, students in my classes struggle because:
Often, students in my classes struggle because they do not take their studies seriously, do not conduct themselves appropriately, and are not responsible for themselves.
But if you:
Take yourself and your studies seriously, be organized, and fully participate in class. Conduct yourself as a young adult and see each day as a new learning experience.
